Delivery Driver
Job Description
Seeking a self-driven, professional and courteous individual to serve in a delivery driver position at a small-scale wine distribution company. Warehouse duties include but may not be limited to: sending and receiving pallets of wine using an electric pallet jack, reading and accurately picking orders, warehouse maintenance (keeping the floor organized, garbage/pallet removal), watching vehicle maintenance needs, monthly inventory.
Deliveries are Monday-Friday, however actual routes will vary by day and season with some deliveries outside of the Twin Cities area.
Positive team player attitude and attention to detail is a must. Experience not required but is a plus. Paid holidays and accrued sick leave. Serious inquiries only please.
Responsibilities:
- Build/Send/Receive/Put away pallets of wine
- Keep warehouse tidy and maintained
- Input received orders into Google docs spreadsheet
- Pick daily delivery orders by reading invoices
- Deliver to customer locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload vehicle
- Inspect and monitor delivery vehicles
- Maintain accurate inventory goods
Qualifications:
- Must be 22+ years old
- Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields a plus
- Clean driving record (driving record will be needed on hire date for insurance)
- Ability to handle physical workload (cases of wine weigh up to 40lbs)
- Deadline-oriented
- Smart phone (used for daily routing)
